Brookestone of Papillion celebrated its grand reopening after a $6.7 million remodel and a name change from Papillion Manor. With the Sarpy County Chamber of Commerce attending the ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the occasion.

The event was joined by residents, staff, families, and the community to celebrate the renovation and new name.

During the ceremony, attendees heard speeches from Glenn Van Ekeren (CEO), Vetter Senior Living; Eldora Vetter shared how she and her husband Jack purchased the building 38 years ago; Mayor David P. Black also spoke as did Congressman Mike Flood and the building administrator Ashley Walters.

After the ribbon was cut, everyone enjoyed an Italian buffet for dinner made by the culinary team at Brookestone of Papillion.

Thank you to our residents for opening their home to the community for this event and thank you to all of the staff that helped make this event so amazing.
